[ARCHIVED] UPDATE 2022-06-07: Silver Alert CANCELLED for Missing Trumbull Juvenile

(Update) On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, around 12:00 PM, the missing 10-year-old boy, Jeffrey Hachey Jr., had been safely located at the Westfield Trumbull Mall, after he had been reported missing for several hours.

Police were advised that a Westfield shopper noticed him walking around inside the mall, and realized that he fit the description that had been provided on the Silver Alert. Westfield security assisted before notifying the Trumbull Police who met with Hachey and confirmed his identity. Hachey remained under the supervision of the Trumbull Police until he was safely reunited with his mother.



(Original) On Tuesday June 7, 2022, the Trumbull Police Department issued a Silver Alert for a 10-year-old boy, who has been missing from Trumbull since yesterday afternoon.

Ten (10) year old Jeffrey Hachey, who resides on Sylvan Avenue Trumbull, CT, was last seen at about 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6th when he walked out of his family’s house, but has not returned home. Police have been unable to determine any direction of travel or his whereabouts, but he has been known to frequent the area of Trumbull Avenue in Bridgeport.

Jeffrey Hachey is a white male, approximately 4’8” tall, approximately 72 pounds, with strawberry blonde hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black Under Amour t-shirt with red sleeves, and green jogger style pants with a silver stripe.
