10/31/23 Update by First Selectman Vicki Tesoro: Are you following Trumbull Community Theater yet? I’m thrilled that I was able to launch this project, which has been a dream of mine for a long time. Theater and the arts enrich our lives with creativity and a Community Theater has the incredible power to bring a community together in ways that few other things can. I am so excited to see this program come to fruition!
I want to congratulate all our residents who auditioned and have been selected to perform in the inaugural show, “A Christmas Carol: The Musical.” Perhaps you know some of the main cast?
John Congdon, Rob Somerville, Jenna Brown, Jet Cznarnecky, Vincent Chistoni, Austin Lear, Jill Clark, Emma Mordan, John Wrobel, Scott Kokosa, and many others.

According to John Congdon (Ebenezer Scrooge), “This is fantastic! I get to work with students I’ve taught in the past. It is so much fun and it’s all Trumbull people!”
Rob Somerville (Jacob Marley) stated, “I haven’t been on stage in a musical in 34 years. It is amazing! I can feel the cast coming together already. There’s an energy! It should be a great performance!”
