I was very excited and proud to hear yesterday that all our elementary schools and Trumbull High School have been identified by the Connecticut State Department of Education as State of Connecticut Schools of Distinction. Frenchtown Elementary School also earned high distinction in ELA and Math for overall performance, and for performance with the high needs students. Both Madison and Hillcrest Middle Schools continue to make great progress as well.
US News and World Report recently also issued the following rankings: Hillcrest Middle School, 4th best middle school in the State, Madison Middle School, 33rd best middle school in the State, Daniels Farm School, 9th best elementary school in the State, Tashua School, 16th best elementary school in the State, and Trumbull High School, 19th best high school in the State.
Congratulations to all our students, teachers, administrators, staff, and parents. It is their hard work that makes all these accolades possible.
