Sustainable Trumbull is partnering with RWS to offer a drop off for pumpkins to be composted at the next monthly recycling drive:
Where: Trumbull High School
When: November 11, 2023 from 9 am- 12 pm.
If you don’t backyard compost, this is a great opportunity to reduce pollution by keeping your pumpkin out of the trash, which currently gets incinerated in CT.
Pumpkins should be free of glitter, glue, paint, and decorations.
Note: This is a one-time drop off for pumpkins only. If you are interested in regular curbside pick up of your food scraps, RWS offers this to all Trumbull residents, even to those not existing customers. See website for more info and to get started.
