The Board of Finance meets tonight (June 13, 2024) at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at Town Hall to vote on a resolution which would approve $142,375,000 in bonding for the construction of a new Hillcrest Middle School. At its July 1 meeting, the Town Council will consider this resolution. The Trumbull Town Charter requires that any bonding authorization in excess of $15 million must be put to the voters to consider by Referendum. It is anticipated that if the Town Council approves the funding for this project the question will be on the ballot at the November 5 general election.
