The Pequonnock River Trail is temporarily closed from Tait Road to Old Mine Park due to trees and limbs on the trail. The Parks Department is working to clear the trail and will then remove hanging branches and damaged trees in danger of falling. The Parks and Public Works Departments continue to work on clearing the damage on town roads, which could slow the progress of clearing the trail. Safety is always our number one concern. We will provide further updates as the cleanup continues.
