11/08/24 Update: The town requests your cooperation regarding the annual leaf collection program. Leaves must be piled away from the street surface to ensure the safety of both pedestrians and vehicles. Wet leaves left on the road create hazardous conditions and can cause potential injuries. Leaf piles obstruct drivers' sightlines around curves, driveways, and areas where children may be playing. Please remove leaves from the street and place on the edge of your property. Violators can be fined fifty dollars. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
The Trumbull Public Works Department has announced details for their 2024/25 Leaf Pickup Program. Visit the Leaf Pickup Program page on the Town website for more information about the program.
Loose Leaf Pickup Program
The Town of Trumbull offers an annual loose leaf collection program that begins in the Fall and runs until leaves have been collected in each neighborhood. The Department of Public Works anticipates the program will begin on Monday, November 4, 2024. Weather conditions may delay collections.
Residents can track the leaf collection progress by viewing the Leaf Pickup Progress Map, which is updated daily during the program.
Bagged Leaf Pickup Program
Residents may request bagged leaf pickup at any time, and as many times as needed, during the Town's Loose Leaf Pickup Program. See the Bagged Leaf Collection section on the Leaf Pickup Program page for additional information.
