12:30 PM, 10/3/2024: This is a message from the Trumbull Police Department. At around 10:30 AM this morning, Trumbull Police issued a shelter in place notification to the Unity Road neighborhood, including Unity Drive, Saybrook Road, Partridge Lane, Windmill Lane, and Priscilla Place. The shelter in place directive is still in effect until further notice.
Trumbull Police is asking residents to stay away from the affected neighborhood. The area remains an active police scene and several agencies are participating in the search for an armed suspect.
