There are 2 ballot questions on this year’s ballot. You can find these questions at the top of the ballot.
Last week, Governor Ned Lamont declared a State of Emergency because of dry and windy weather conditions. A strict burn ban is currently in effect for the Town of Trumbull and all burning permits are suspended until further notice. The ban includes the use of fire pits. THIS BAN EXTENDS TO ALL FIREWORK ACTIVITY AS WELL including sparklers.
We recognize that members of our community are celebrating Diwali and we wish you peace and prosperity. We understand this ban may disrupt celebrations. In the interest of public safety, we are asking all our residents to please adhere to this requirement.
Thanks for listening.
Have a great weekend.
