The CT Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) is administering a $25 million program that will provide grants to supply chain companies that are expanding and increasing production capacity. The Strategic Supply Chain Initiative will provide grants from $500,000 to $5 million for projects that increase companies’ production capacity in CT.
Funding will be provided on a case-by-case basis and will require a minimum 50% match. Priority consideration will be given to supply chain companies in CT’s core industries including, but not limited to, manufacturing, semiconductors, biomedical instruments & life sciences, clean energy, information technology, and Insurtech & Fintech. The program is not intended for routine facility or machinery, equipment maintenance or fulfillment of existing work, contracts, or bids.
