The CT Department of Public Health notified the Town of Trumbull this afternoon that they are investigating a water issue at the Genesis St. Joseph’s Center facility at 6448 Main Street. Teresian Towers and Carmel Ridge are not impacted.
The Town and CT Department of Public Health, in a unified front, have made the decision to evacuate the Genesis St. Joseph’s Center facility. This decision was made to protect the health and well being of all residents in the facility. Local and state officials are on site and will remain on site during the evacuation. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
