5/1/2017 - 4 Week Look-Ahead for the Town of Trumbull’s Paving Program

Below is the anticipated 4 week look ahead for The Town of Trumbull’s paving schedule.  Dates and locations are subject to change based on numerous unforeseen factors.  The updates shall be posted here.

Various sections of the roads will be closed to “Thru Traffic” at different times throughout this process.  The Town of Trumbull will endeavor to keep disturbance to a minimum.  However, your patience will be much appreciated.  Construction work is anticipated to start at 7:00 am daily.  All bus stops will remain at their current locations.

Week of May 1st, 2017:
1)    Curb removal will begin on Prospect Avenue, Tulip Street, Fairview Avenue (south), Pine Street, Linden Avenue, Spruce Street and Machalowski Road.

Week of May 8th, 2017:
1)    Roadway excavation and roadway grading will begin on Prospect Avenue, Tulip Street, Fairview Avenue (south), Pine Street, Linden Avenue, Camelot Drive, Spruce Street and Machalowski Road.

Week of May 15th, 2017:
2)    Roadway excavation and roadway grading will continue on Prospect Avenue, Tulip Street, Fairview Avenue (south), Pine Street, Linden Avenue, Camelot Drive, Spruce Street and Machalowski Road.
3)    Installation of first layer of roadway paving will begin towards the end of the week on Prospect Avenue, Tulip Street, Fairview Avenue (south), Pine Street, Linden Avenue, Camelot Drive, Spruce Street and Machalowski Road.
4)    Manhole, catch basin top adjustments will begin.  
5)    On Sunday, May 21st, State of Connecticut will begin milling on Main Street from 0.05 mi north of Whitney Avenue to 0.76 mi South of Monroe Town line. Construction activities are scheduled to start at 8pm and end at 5am.  
6)    State of Connecticut will continue with Pequonnock River Trail project on White Plains Road, Rocky Hill Road, Merritt Parkway & Quarry Road.  

Week of May 22nd, 2017:
1)    Roadway paving will continue on Prospect Avenue, Tulip Street, Fairview Avenue (south), Pine Street, Linden Avenue, Camelot Drive, Spruce Street and Machalowski Road.
2)    Manhole, catch basin top adjustments will continue.  
3)    Drainage improvements will begin on Spinning Wheel Rd.
4)    State of Connecticut will continue milling on Main Street from 0.05 mi north of Whitney Avenue to 0.12 mi South of Monroe Town line.
5)    State of Connecticut will continue with Pequonnock River Trail project on White Plains Road, Rocky Hill Road, Merritt Parkway & Quarry Road.
