YLLI SHTOPAKU, age 45, a resident of South Street in Norwalk, was charged in the death of LIDA SHAPE, age 70, who was a resident of the Ten-Trumbull apartment complex where the attack occurred.

Family members who later arrived on scene were treated by Trumbull EMS for medical issues not directly relate to the initial incident.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the attack by interviewing other family members and witnesses, as well as collecting and processing evidence form the scene and surrounding area.
