MetroCOG, our regional planning agency, installed a traffic counter today, October 14, 2025, at the intersection of Daniels Farm Road & Hedgehog Road. The count equipment is non-intrusive so there should be no impacts or obstruction of the counter to the roadway, traffic, pedestrians, or private property. Data collection will begin tomorrow and it is anticipated that the counter will be removed early next week. This data collection is in response to residents requesting we evaluate the intersection for a traffic light.
