[ARCHIVED] SNAP Benefits and Food Resources During the Federal Government Shutdown

Trumbull Human Services Logo (PNG)

If the federal government shutdown continues, SNAP recipients will not receive benefits beginning Saturday, November 1, 2025.

If you receive SNAP benefits:

  • Use remaining funds: Any balance from previous months will stay on your EBT card.
  • No new benefits: Monthly payments will resume once the federal government reopens.
  • New applications: DSS is still processing SNAP applications. Approved October benefits will appear when funding resumes.
