STATE DOT PAVING PROJECT

Milling and Resurfacing Project, Route 127 (White Plains Road) in Trumbull


The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 127 in Trumbull.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.14 miles of Route 127 in Trumbull.  This project is scheduled to occur Wednesday night August 5, 2015 to Thursday morning August 13, 2015.  The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday night August 5, 2015 through Saturday morning August 8, 2015. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday night August 9, 2015 through Thursday morning August 13, 2015.

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2015 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 127 from Exit from Route 15 Southbound to .03 mile S/O SR 734 (Daniels Farm Road).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
