Get A Flu Shot At TMHD And Give Back To Our Community
Proceeds from vaccination clinics help to provide quality programs to our community
It’s not too late to get your flu and pneumonia vaccinations. The Trumbull Monroe Health District (TMHD) has several vaccination clinics scheduled that you can choose from.
All people 6 months of age and older are encouraged to get vaccinated. TMHD has injectable vaccine for those 6 months and older. Home visits can be made for those who are homebound. If you have specific vaccine questions, contact TMHD at 203-452-5195 and ask to speak to the public health nurse.
Seasonal flu clinics will be held at the TMHD offices, 2 Corporate Drive, Suite 116, Trumbull. Clinics are planned for:
• Tuesday, December 3, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Thursday, December 5, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Monday, December 9, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, December 11, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Friday, December 13, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Monday, December 16, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Tuesday, December 17, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Thursday, December 19, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
“TMHD accepts Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Connecticare and Medicare, Part B for both flu and pneumonia vaccinations,” said Patrice Sulik, TMHD Director of Health. “Another benefit for taxpayers is that by choosing the Health district for your flu vaccination needs, the proceeds help minimize the funding support needed from our member towns.”
There are no residency requirements and no appointments are necessary for these clinics. The cash price for flu vaccination is $25.00 (cash and checks accepted). All insurance cards must be brought to the clinic for billing purposes, as well as a driver’s license (if you have one). Participants are responsible for the insurance co-pay or deductible, at the time of vaccination. If your insurance company does not fully cover the cost of the vaccination, TMHD will bill you the balance. Residents who are unable to pay the vaccination fee or who are unable to attend the above clinic times should contact the Public Health Nurse.
Contact TMHD’s Public Health Nurse at 203-452-5195 if you are interested in receiving the flu vaccine but unable to make the above clinic times.
