[ARCHIVED] Huntington Turnpike, Booth Hill Road and Shelton Road Paving Project – 60 Day

10/05/12 – Paving for Booth Hill area roads and Shelton Road – 7 Day Look Ahead

At this time, below is the anticipated 60 day look ahead for paving work the Booth Hill area roads and Shelton Road.  Dates are subject to change based on numerous unforeseen factors, however, the Town of Trumbull shall provide an update on a weekly basis.  

Booth Hill Area Roads:  

Week of October 9, 2012 – Paving on Booth hill Road to continue.  Other roads proposed to be paved during this week include Hunters Lane.   Topsoil and seeding behind the curbing and driveway aprons will be worked on also.  Due to the Columbus Day Holiday, no town construction activity will occur on Booth Hill on October 8th, 2012.

Shelton Road: (from Shelton Line to approximately Cemetery Drive)

Week of October 8, 2012 – Roadway repaving to continue on Shelton Road between Erwin Street and North street.   The work for this week will include excavating and grading to prepare this section of the road for asphalt installation.  The roadway will be closed to passing vehicular traffic.   Please follow the detour signs and police personnel.   All bus stops for students on Shelton Road will remain in its current location.  

October & November 2012 – Paving reconstruction project will continue into throughout October and November.
