Bulk Pickup is by appointment only

Acceptable Material should NOT be put out until the day before the scheduled appointment

ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS:  This service is for objects too big to get in your car…

• Furniture (sofas, chairs, tables, mattresses, carpets, yard furniture)
•     
• Appliances (dishwashers, washers, TV’s , (refrigerators/freezers w/door removed))
•     
• branches in tied bundles (4’ long maximum)
•     
• Grills (w/o propane tank-bring to a propane tank company) 

UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS: (Will NOT be picked up): 

• UN-TIED BRANCHES 
•     
• VEHICLES (no automobile parts) 
•     
• EXPLOSIVES
•     
• TREE STUMPS
•     
• DEAD ANIMALS
•     
• BRANCHES OR WOOD OVER 4 FEET IN LENGTH OR 6 INCHES IN DIAMETER 
•     
• TRASH CANS
•     
• HAZARDOUS MATERIALS:  including oil based paint (there is a Town wide Household Hazardous Waste Day every year…..watch for notices)
•     
• TRANSFER STATION MATERIAL (on Spring Hill Road) 
•     
  1. HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE/TRASH-no small items, not even in boxes or bags
  2.         
  3. RECYCLABLE MATERIAL: “Blue Bin” stuff, Corrugated cardboard, Water based paint cans

--(air dry before recycling the can)

  1. DEMOLITION MATERIALS: Fee of $12.00/125 lbs-buy tickets at Public Works Yard Office

asphalt shingles, sheetrock, concrete, ceramic tile or bathroom fixtures, plaster, brick, masonry debris

  1. BAGGED LEAVES, GRASS, or other YARD WASTE
  2.         
  3. TIRES ($2.00 per tire)
  4.         
  5. METAL OVER 4 FEET IN LENGTH
• PUBLIC WORKS YARD MATERIAL (on Church Hill Road) (weekdays 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon, 

12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
