Unit Charged

The residential Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) User Rate per Centum Cubic Feet (CCF) for Fiscal 2025-2026 is $6.715 A single fixed residential Unit Charge of $34.000 per quarter is billed every resident with access to the sewer system. Residents not connected are not exempt from this cost. 

Measuring Consumption

The number of CCFs each dwelling generates is determined by the amount of water coming into the house. That consumption is measured by their water meters and billed quarterly. The consumption plus the Unit Charge determines the total sewer user bill. 

Example: Water consumption of 21 CCF multiplied $6.715 equals $141.015 plus the Unit Charge $34.00 equals $175.015 for the quarter.

The assessments were determined by the actual construction, engineering and administrative costs for this project. The amount assessed is payable over 20 years at an interest rate of 2.75%.
