Mary has been a Trumbull resident her entire life and has served the town in many capacities, including decades of volunteer work. Before her election as Town Clerk, Mary served as Trumbull's Assistant Registrar of Voters for seven years, Director of Recreation for more than nineteen years, and Democratic Registrar of Voters for one year, working under four first selectmen, both Democrats and Republicans.
