First Selectman Vicki A. Tesoro is pleased to announce that the 2021 Memorial Day activities and parade will take place on Monday, May 31, 2021.

In recognition of the lives lost in Vietnam, a rededication ceremony and wreath-laying will occur at 8:00 AM at the Vietnam Memorial on White Plains Road.

The Town Hall ceremony, honoring parade Grand Marshal Lt. Colonel Robert E. Mraz, will begin at 9:00 AM in front of Town Hall. A wreath-laying ceremony, honoring those lives lost in other wars, will also be held at Town Hall.

The parade itself will step off at 10:00 AM, beginning at the new shopping plaza, Long Hill Market, and end at Town Hall.

The town will fly flags on Main Street from Memorial Day until September 11th. If you wish to sponsor a flag, please complete and submit a Flag Sponsor Form (PDF). You may purchase a flag in honor of, or in memory of, a soldier who is deceased, has served, or is currently serving. Anyone can sponsor a flag in honor of all soldiers. The names of those being remembered or honored will appear in the program.

Please join us in honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom by attending and/or by marching in the parade: Trumbull Memorial Day Parade Application (PDF).
