If you accessed the Tax Collector's page to pay past due real estate taxes or WPCA/sewer use charges to obtain a tax clearance for your building permit, please call the office at 203-452-5024 prior to making the payment to be sure the correct amount is paid and the correct form of payment is used. Please mention that a clearance for your building permit is needed.
In order to get a next business day clearance, taxes owed must be paid with a credit or debit card. All e-check payments will have a 10 business day hold.
