During COVID-19 Social Services is taking appointments by phone only. For food pantry clients, the building is closed but drive thru services are available by appointment only. Food pantry deliveries are available to homebound individuals. Staff are monitoring the phone lines so be sure to leave a message and someone will call you back. (203) 452-5136.

Our offices and the Food Pantry are located at The Center at Priscilla Place, off of Huntington Turnpike near the Bunny Fountain and the Fairchild-Nichols Library.
Assist Trumbull residents and their families by providing assistance to help meet their basic needs. The Department provides programs such as benefits screenings, financial assistance, resources, information and assistance, counseling and advocacy.
Counselors offer support to individuals and caregivers in the community. They offer benefits screenings for programs such as:
- Connecticut Home Care Program
- Medicare Savings Program
The department offers emergency financial assistance, resources, information and assistance, and Medicare enrollment. In-office and home visits are offered.
The Emergency Services program was established to provide immediate emergency assistance and relief to families and individuals who are faced with an unexpected financial crisis. At the onset of an emergency, Trumbull Social Services is available to offer direct immediate assistance in the form of financial assistance for utilities, medications, food, and other immediate pressing needs. Donations are gladly accepted. All monetary donations made to the Social Services Department are used solely to assist Trumbull residents experiencing hardship.
