Beyond the Bin

Beyond the Bin recycling programs include the collection of typically non-recyclable items at the Monthly Recycling Drive and drop off at the Trumbull Library. These are optional programs which allow an opportunity to keep contamination out of the single stream recycling and reduce trash.

Please check these pages for updates to accepted items as sometimes the programs can change.

Monthly Recycling Drive

Sustainable Trumbull hosts a monthly recycling drive on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Trumbull High School. We have teamed up with Terracycle, Planet Green Recycling, TREX to collect hard-to-recycle items to be repurposed.

When: 2nd Saturday of the month
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: Trumbull High School (front)

Save any items that fall in the following categories and bring them to Trumbull High School (front) on the 2nd Saturday of every month alongside the THS GEMB redeemable collection.
