Tabletop Gaming

The Trumbull Public Library is proud to offer a diverse selection of tabletop gaming options for patrons to play. The board games, card decks, and other tabletop paraphernalia are not available for check out; all items must be used within the library.  Further details about how to use these items are available below.

The Trumbull Library offers:

  • Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza
  • Storymatic: Synapsis
  • Jenga

Patrons are welcome to play in the Teen or Adult Reference area. The games are located in the teen study area.

Dry erase markers are available at the reference desk to be used on the whiteboard tables. Smaller whiteboards may also be requested for studying or art purposes.

Magic the Gathering Banner

Cards are available in the teen department. Ask either the teen librarian, or information desk staff if the teen librarian is unavailable, for access to the cards. All cards are from 2019. To play, you must have your library card or student ID. You will leave your card with library staff while you play. Once you return your deck to staff, your card will be returned to you.

Experience or knowledge of the game is expected - staff may not be available to teach you, though basic rule sheets can be provided upon request. 

There are:

  1. 40 pre-made decks, with 5 unique builds (one for each color type)
  2. How to play guides, D20 health counters, and a player mat

Decks are not available for check out - you must play with the decks within the library.
