Place all scrap metal items over a gray wall marked "Metal."
The TEaM Transfer Station accepts various scrap metal of all shapes and sizes:
- Appliances such as grills, refrigerators, ovens. Doors must be removed from all refrigerators.
- Small appliances such as toasters. Small appliances that are comprised mostly of plastic such as vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, and blenders should be recycled in Electronic Waste Recycling.
- Housewares- pots and pans, wire racks, metal file cabinets, bicycles. Batteries must be removed from all E-bikes and scooters. Batteries can be recycled in the Electronic Waste Recycling.
- Various small items such as keys, metal clothing hangers, wire racks, and much more.
Note: Aluminum beverage cans and food grade canned goods can be recycled in the Single Stream Recycling and Curbside Bin.
