Latex, water-based and oil-based house paint, stains and varnish, up to 5 gallons in size, are accepted at the Trumbull Rings End, 921 White Plains Road. Latex paint is not considered hazardous waste and can also be put in the trash. However, before disposing paint cans in the trash, follow these steps:
- Open can
- Add kitty litter
- Let dry
- Throw in the TRASH
